Human Resources Coordinator

 Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the recruiting process by:
    • Advertising and managing available positions;
    • Screening and interviewing potential candidates;
    • Drafting employment contracts;
    • Administrating necessary references and background checks;
    • Preparing the necessary on-boarding materials needed
  • Being a point of contact for team members and potential candidates regarding various inquiries related to human resource, such as: benefits, policies and procedures, and company programs;
  • Oversee and manage the HR component of the company’s HRIS, ADP Workforce Now;
  • Gathering, analyzing and presenting data in reports to the help decision making in the department as it relates to budgeting, compensation and benefits, and other human resources functions;
  • Working alongside the Management Team and other departments to develop, shape, and implement programs and procedures aimed at increasing employee engagement and achieving company goals;
  • Administrating training sessions through planning, facility coordination and set up, and reviewing feedback and results to ensure objectives were understood and adopted;
  • Overseeing various Team Member recognition and appreciation programs/events and coordinating with managers to ensure meaningful delivery to Team Members;
  • Assists with updating various employment-related social media sites;
  • Maintains  filing system for employee files, correspondence, policies and standards;
  • Assists in the coordination of other Human Resources programs within the company in accordance with Hollyburn’s Human Resources policies and procedures;
  • Assists wither other internal Human Resources and recruiting functions as required;
  • Complies with Hollyburn Properties Ltd.’s policies and procedures;
  • Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times;
  • To be Health & Safety conscious and is actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment;
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 Job Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Recruiter and/or  Human Department is required;
  • University/College education in Human Resources or CPHR is an asset;
  • Computer savvy, with a strong knowledge of  Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign) applications;
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a definite asset;
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships and foster cooperation;
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently;
  • Ability to work under pressure, with time constraints even as priorities change and urgencies intervene;
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment;
  • Flexible to meet constantly changing demands of the workplace;
  • Proven desire to provide quality service to our Team Members and external candidates;
  • Exceptional organizational skills with previous experience in handling confidential issues;
  • Must be able to read  and write proficiently in English;
  • Previous multi-provincial experience in HR is an asset.
